[Monitoring] The issue concerning performance degradation and service issues with file shares that was affecting customers attempting to launch or resume labs has been mitigated. Customers should now be able to see improved consistency and stability within lab environments. We’re currently monitoring to ensure that there are no further issues, and we’ll send a final update to confirm that there have been no recurrences.

[Identified] We have observed performance degradation and service issues with file shares in our US East and US west datacenters. Our vendor has acknowledged the issue, and we are working with them to identify a resolution to the problem. In the meantime, we are working to implement additional services to help mitigate any potential future issues as well as working with our storage vendors for a full resolution.
This is an informational notice and there are no service issues at this time.
We will update when we have migrated to known good hardware or our vendor has provided a resolution to the issue.
